In Mexico there are thousands of archaeological sites and you can only visit a few hundred, maybe 200, but Jalisco has few compared to other states. I recommend you go to the biggest ones, like Monte Albán, Teotihucán and Chichenitza. I love history so I know these archaeological sites and you will be surprised. The history of Mexico is very old, so you have to study a lot to understand everything that existed before the conquest.
