Why yes, yes we do. We as Mericans' were brought up this way and in keeping consumerism alive whether we understand this or not we celebrate the holidays. Fun times when you get to see people and family you haven't seen for a while. I know most of our yearly holidays are based on religion and some particular story there in but most, not all if you asked them, couldn't tell you the religious meaning of easter they just know a big bunny's coming with a basket full of candy.....................
