HAVING FUN IN THE GARDEN - AND I COULD USE YOUR HELP

in #funny6 years ago

I figured it was about time for me to create an alter-ego.

New series alert! Since gardening season is upon us, I'm spending more time in the garden. Doing so has given me more time to think about gardening in general, and I thought that perhaps I would start up a new series of short, humorous gardening videos where I have some fun making jokes or telling funny stories about gardening related things. I've got a few planned about fertilizer, the name "Pete Moss," sprouting seeds, watering seeds, and so on.

WHERE YOU COME IN

While I may have some things planned, there is always room for more. I thought that perhaps some of you may have some interesting and humorous ideas for some funny gardening shorts. If anyone wants to reply with any funny ideas, I'll look them over and maybe we can enjoy creating something together.

Not only that, if I choose your idea to turn into a video, I'll give you a shout-out in the post and a STEEM or SBD reward for being chosen. It may be a good opportunity to earn a little extra crypto and get your name out there to even more steemians.

I plan on putting the post together for the first episode in order to release it tomorrow, but for those of you who subscribe to my youtube channel already, you may have seen the first one. If you want a sneak peak, you'll have to check my youtube channel of just wait until I make the official steemit post tomorrow. Also, you can always subscribe to my YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/PapaPepper - so you can see all the videos before I share them on steemit.

For the rest of you, let me know if you want to help or if you've got any good ideas! Thanks!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

How about a video on the various fertility rites practiced by different agricultural societies around the world :-)

You're always a good one for ideas! ;-)

I think you have the best posts here on Steemit :D !

You’ve got a lot of space have you ever thought of putting a nature pond in, it could Encourage lots of Beneficial insects amongst many other animals plus a wonderful thing to look at very good for your well being. That would be a great series to follow from the building to planting and then watching as things started to move in . Cheers mike, ps some sad news we are down to six chicks now

Yes I have. I want a few ponds, from larger ones with fish down to little garden ponds.

I’m sure a man with your resources knows someone with a digger, it would be a good series to follow. Thanks mike

I also have a garden @ papa-pepper The contents of green beans. It's almost fruitful. Maybe in the next few weeks can already enjoy the harvest. However I have no funny idea about gardening @ papa-pepper. Because my daily life is farming and fishing.

Why not out the manure in the man.... Just thinking aloud

That hat gives a goddamn cow boyish look!👌

Great first episode!

Great idea @papa-pepper! I am sure all of us have had funny or strange experiences in the garden. I will cogitate on this for a bit and see what I can come up with. Tips for gardening are always welcome. Even folks who have been gardening a long time can learn new tricks...

Yeah, this one may be more silly than educational, but it may vary.

Silly is good...sometimes.

Your post for some reason reminded me of a movie I watched a lot as a kid. Dumb and Dumber. They had a passion for worms, wanted to named their store I Got Worms! Ha ha!

You may not be far off on that!

Looks like Pete Moss loves pointing at stuff.

LOL - He might do that too! Maybe just trying to get a point across, or make a point.

you are a very great person in gardening, I very much got knowledge from you about how to gardening.

Muy buena esa pepper, saludos desde Venezuela.

There must be something humorous in turning horse crap into wholesome food. :-)

I'm enjoying my tiny garden. Plants are coming up around my rocks!

whoa, what a good one!

  1. Making/using stupid things as trellises. 2. Identifying "poisonous" or "good" plants. 3. Using your animals as pest control (then just show a barren landscape, because the animals destroyed everything). 4. Identifying "good" and "bad" bugs.

I am really looking forward to this. Don't forget to put the whore back in horticulture.

LOL Good stuff!

Wao. Interesting part.well as regards your garding its very impressive.
