First off, no those are not my chickens. This is a photo from a Caribbean island before hurricane Irma hit and the owners were evacuating their chickens (possibly roosters?) wrapped in newspaper and secured with masking tape in the backseat of their car. At least I know how to wrap the girls up for a quick evac. if need be...Looks more comfy then the large dog crate I might have used.

Lol, so simple and effective. Kind of makes me think "why didn't I think of that?" but then again I haven't had to go through such measures. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!
Necessity is the mother of invention ! Haha🐓🐓
Too funny! It must be pretty noisy driving with them all cooped up in the back seat, but at least with the newspaper chickholders there won't be any chicken poop to clean up from the car!😊😊
Haha they were probably bock bocking all the way...hmm a new business idea "chicken totes"🐓🐓
Love it! Mother2chicks Chicken Totes! 😜😜

Actually this reminds me of an event in my childhood. I was about 11 or 12 years old. During our summer vacation in Hungary our host wanted to bring some chicken somewhere else - not far away.so we caught the chicken and they shockingly enough just laid them in a cardboard box and shut the lid. 📦
But not my poor chicken!! (The one I had caught) I refused to put it in the box and kept it on my lap during the short ride. - which wasn't that easy as it sounds because chicken tend to panic when you catch them and hold them and go for a ride with them.
Finally we reached the destination and as a thank you for the premium ride on my lap the ungrateful creature pooed on my knees. 💩 💩 💩
So my conclusion is: the next time I happen to transport 🐥 chicken, I'll put them in a box 📦 or wrap them up. 😀😂👍
bock bock, definitely looks like a rooster or four in there, and they are not lookin' happy.
Good eye, there are a few in the mix! Thanks for stopping by🐓
Wow!! That's interesting. I suppose you can get more into a car that way.
I think if you stack them in rows you could probably get 50 maybe 75 in the back seat. Haha! 🐓🐓
Goodness gracious - what a way to be transported around!
Yes indeed. I always feel safer wrapped in a blanket with masking tape! Anyone can see the benefits of traveling like that. Thanks for stopping by. 🐓🐓
Interesting. Probably helps keep them from fighting or flapping around.
No doubt about that. No fighting in the back seat! Lol! 🐓🐓
Don't make me turn this car around!
DO NOT give Googley any ideas please! BDSM cannot be introduced to her at her age!
She assures me she knows the "safe" word! She has seen it all and been around the world a few times! Lol🐓
That's intense lol. Poor rosters hehe. Yet I bet they're happy their alive. Very cool post. :)
Probably uncomfortable for sure bundled up like sausages. Thanks for stopping by and having a looksie🐓
