Never been to China before... I hope some day to be able to travel all over the world and get to know other great civilizations such as the Greek one as well...
As for the BTC price at that time... it definitely was a great opportunity...but since you are far more experienced than I am, you know that there are going to be many more investing opportunities in the near future(since we are in such a bearish market for months now)
We just need to know where to look and which projects are worthy...
