LOL. I am a fringe Star Trek fan. I find the movies entertaining but I'm not addicted to them the way I am Star Wars. Not being a purest allows me to look at the movies a little differently than a Star Trek fanatic. I bet it is similar to a Star Trek fan who is a fringe Star Wars fan watching the prequels. Those movies make me angry. But I am sure some now fanatics found them entertaining.
But I would never begrudge anyone for their sic-fi fanaticism.
