You know all on the planet have been doing wrong. From energy management - to humanity development. And the final goal stay the same from centuries. Wealth , money power influence dictated by the "God Chosen People". Shame , reality or doom.

I very much enjoy how you turn every day situations into fascinating stories. It's a gift.

@izbing

Gift or unacceptence to reality?

Great photo. It is good to look at options. Thank you. I'm Doctor Oatmeal Joey.

hah! this is the point of view, worth resteeming 240%

The electric car infrastructure isn't perfect rainbows and unicorns YET, but the oil infrastructure has destroyed millions of acres of pristine land, waterways, water tables and all forms of life and will always do so. There is no way to improve that system. Eventually, the solar/electric/battery technology can be made far cleaner than oil and we won't have to invade Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc., and corrupt the governments of Venezuela, Brazil, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and many others. Oil is a paradigm of war, destruction and exploitation, electric CAN be a paradigm of cooperation.

well...
As always, let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst =))

And this is an oil well on fire.

I guess gasoline cars don't look that much nicer on these pictures. But sure, that's a nice picture of a forest.
Just because electric cars don't solve all the problem it doesn't mean it's not a good step forward.

U're right.

There are many oil sands sites in Alberta and the photo shared is only a minor one compared with the larger oil sands sites that look like an atomic bomb hit it .
Yes I see your point about needing certain minerals to create the electric car batteries but as we humanity grow in consciousness and new creative ideas we can do away with destroying the earth and become harmony with Mother Earth
Water powered cars are good example
God bless in wholeness
You are the creator

We can't forget that the oil sand is actually causing a huge damage to the environment! That oil sand site shown in the pictures is like the tiniest one, there are great portions of lands damaged in Alberta. And that is only talking about that topic, because we could be talking about fracking too. I think both, oil sand sites and lithium extraction are very dangerous and they are causing lots of terrible troubles nowadays.

what about nuclear steam power ??
