If you are 30-something, you may recall this AT&T TV commercial series from the early 90's, where they took a stab at predicting the future of technology. Hopefully you like this as much as I did.

Some of the concepts are hilariously mistaken but frankly more are surprisingly close to the mark, particularly considering many of the predictions were made decades ahead of their time.

I have a special nostalgic memory for the prediction that is shown here at 3 min 23 sec, in this video. I remember being blown away by the idea that we could learn from a screen at a desk. I had seen computers by this time but all they could do as far as I had known was play Oregon Trail.

My second fav, Have you ever sent a fax to someone, from the beach? ...A fax!? ...from the beach? Ha ha!

Anyways, hopefully you had fun with this post. Also Joe Scott is great, who makes quality content. This video from two weeks ago has 38,000 views. And if you enjoy his video I encourage you to post a kind remark in the comments to invite him to join the Steemit community.

My "You Will" Prediction:

We will not need money. We will work for pleasure. Basic needs will be accommodated by regulatory bodies as a response to mass unemployment resulting from AI's ability to do whatever we do, but better.

How do you predict life will be different 25 years from today?

As always, if you enjoy the post, please upvote, comment, resteem and follow.
