I remember moving brick when I moved mom from the old house to a ranch house. We HAD to save every last brick. Granted we did not have as many as you had BUT... I think it is the culture. Some folks are thrifty because they went without as children and then they go the other extreme and hoard. The old timers knew the value of a dime or dollar and did not waste it. I get it completely. You particularly see this with senior citizens who went through the great depression in America. Steve sound like a cool guy. Thanks I upvoted. - Troy

Oh yeah I forget to mention it is in our blood. My whole family is like this. I keep some useless stuff... but mine is much lighter.
