Hahahaha, very cool article! Where Money is, in whatever form, there will be abuse. I would like to see some fundamentals changed at the Steem blockchain though, fundamentals that can reduce the abuse. Like the number of posts an account can publish per day. Like a channel accessible directly from the main Steemit UI showing only posts without bot booster services voted for the posts. Like removal of the Trending channel as we have it today. Like change of the channel one sees by default (which is Trending channel today). Like change to the reward curve away from linear. When Steem/Steemit can do that, it may become a better place. And maybe the most controversial, build in a mechanism for users to ID themselves to allow all sort of features to be applied across all accounts of the same user; Such system still allows anonymity of the user to the social network community, when implemented through a 3rd party ID service, and prevents abusive behaviour of individuals using many accounts; It would also allow to block self voting; It would even allow removal of vote bots.
