Yes the headline is real, my office was hacked by someone or a group of someones, they hacked into our phone lines and called the country of Chad for about 1 hour before Verizon caught this and blocked our long distance service.
From what i understand these hackers make money from the phone lines overseas in some way that is beyond my understanding.
Needless to say I was very stunned when i saw this phone bill and will be working very very closely with Verizon to dispute all charges obviously!
Just thought I'd share and see if anyone has a phone bill that is larger than this haha
