The biggest downside to Fortnite in my opinion is the developers forcing third-person camera on the players. I'm a FPS gamer so it can become distracting when the camera is zoomed out. Otherwise Fortnite is a lot of fun!
i like FPS more aswell but i don't have a choice. and i learned to use third person now so it's cool by me.
But what i don't like is the amount of new things they are adding.
i think from the boogie bomb it has gone downhill.

a grenade that makes people dance. it is just stupid... and then they added a rocket what you can guide.
i feel like it is getting to a point when it's TOO arcade.

I agree with you there as well. The first thought that comes to my mind in comparison is the Grand Theft Auto series vs the Saints Row series. GTA stayed in a realistic course whereas Saints Row reached a completely ridiculous level beyond insanity. All the GTA games were amazing IMO.
