Man pranks police with amazing snow sculpture - but it eventually backfires on him

in #funny7 years ago

The next time there's a huge snowfall, don't batten down the hatches, turn up the thermostat and stay inside.

Instead, get outside and creative with the snow , just like Simon Laprise.

The prankster, from Montreal, Canada, recently got very imaginative with a snow sculpture he must have laboured over for ages.

The stunning result was a VERY realistic looking car resembling a Delorean from Back to the Future.

Clearly a perfectionist, he even added an actual windscreen wiper.

That said, Simon's snow car was constructed in an illegal parking space, meaning it caught the eye of the police.

We don't recommend that.

While cruising the neighbourhood, a police car spotted the Simon's creation and pulled up to ticket it.

So convincing was the sculpture, that it managed to momentarily hoodwink them.

Eventually they figured out it was fake - and left Simon a special ticket to show they appreciated his art.

It read, "You made our evening hahahahahaha : )"

Sadly not everyone was a fan of Simon's car.
According to the Daily Mail , Simon explained the prank wasn't in fact intended for the police.

Instead, it was for the snow removal crews and their plows.

Unfortunately, the car didn't fool them and his sculpture was quickly destroyed.
