What a lovely day full of celebration despite the Brits being split by the controversy of the bride being black. She looks more white with a tan, than black, if they would look closely! But anyways, let's not dwell on race issues, here's a glimpse of the British masses enjoying this wonderful day. Candy for the eyes... and ears.
This makes the second royal wedding I’ve watched (albeit a recording, not live) and it was a really special way for Britain to celebrate, with the gospel choir and mother of the bride with dreadlocks, plus traditional opera and orchestra. Really fun weaving of cultures, and so much obvious adoration between the bride and groom. Fun Saturday diversion for sure.
Ugh, I couldn't care less about the wedding, how can this dominate the news like it has?
Because the sheeplings love it. Keeps them distracted from the real issues.
Yeah. An ordinary non-royalty girl from a different race, married into royalty. It's an epic cinderella type fairy tale come true.
And watching it feels more fulfilling and important than watching "bold and the beautiful".

It's really puzzling to see that the people who love this lavish circus are the ones who actually paid for it with their taxpayer's money. And they don't even realize this. If you dare contest, they would defend the royals relentlessly. (I wonder how long it will take for Meghan's genuine smile to disappear...)

Old superstition I had read before Diana and Charles married - that wearing green to a wedding was equivalent to wishing ill upon the couple. I was amazed/interested to see the Queen Mother clearly wearing a green outfit. This wedding, the green is not so obvious - but a lime green is still green. Superstitious I know, but I often wonder from what depths of the Universal Unconscious they emerge.

It is understandable because they reject the bride, basically the prince broke the protocols of royalty so to speak, this story seems more of Disney than real life lol

Meghan lived in Toronto while filming Suits. Her house was about 15 min drive away from me. Her house was sold within minutes . Glad to see a biracial woman being part of the Royal Family. Wishing them tons of happiness.

Hello @drakos! I watched the live broadcast of this event. Harry was very excited and reminded me of Diana. I was surprised at the number of ordinary people who met newlyweds on the streets of the city. It was a general holiday and joy. I think they were sincere. It reminded me of a beautiful fairy tale...
I did not follow this wedding. But surprisingly, yesterday we painted with my child figures of Big Ben and a London bus for a project that I will soon show on my blog :)

I'm not against weddings, or anything like that, any woman has the desire and right to marry in white dress and others! but I do not think that it should be so important, there are many more important things in the world that require our attention, than to see a wedding on a television.! Besides what people do is criticize, how was the bride? the vetido was ugly! The wedding was not so good and other things that take away valuable time.
