@fulltimegeek Makes A Statement
This was a very interesting week for sure. We got a visit from @fulltimegeek with a really nice upvote of more than $40. We haven't had anywhere near that number since Steem has dropped below $1, and my guess is he was making a statement of how much he cares about the Stewards and keeping the votes coming. Thank you very much @fulltimegeek, we all appreciate everything you do.
p.s. I also want to the thank all the other post voters too, each and every one of you are adding to the totals and making your own statements as well!
While the SP in the account is still growing as a result of the curation, we are edging closer to paying off the 6000 SP lease from @em3. Last week, thanks to the donations we managed to pay off 15 Steem, and with this week's post vote working out to roughly 40 Steem, we will bring our balance due to under 75 Steem. Once we pay that off, we can start adding more market leases again! Steem was flatish for the week in the low $0.40s, and our post votes are holding strong at $0.50 vote per post per steward.
Donations had another nice pickup this week (10.1 Steem), with 5 donations from familiar faces. First the SOG-members @abh12345 (2.0 Steem), @davedickeyyall (0.1 Steem), and @lydsaybowes (6.0 Steem). Then we had non-SOG members @bashadow (1.0 Steem) and @preparedwombat (1.0 Steem). Its so awesome to see the regular contributions from both SOG and non-SOG, as it shows just how much respect everyone has for @fulltimegeek. Thank you all very much for your generosity and attention. Well, that was very nice of FTG, I was wondering why I got such a nice curation reward, ($0.068), that is a huge curation reward for me. It's not like I vote on very many post in the first 20 minutes or so, or vote on stuff just for the maybe reward, so that was a nice surprise. Glad to see everything is running smooth, the price is up the price is down, still all the flags go round and round.

Anyway @davemccoy I was just on Steem checking the account. Thought our SP delegation was due /ending the end of April. But found this:
"At 20 weeks... ... would bring us until May 20th of 2019."
Let me know if you want to renew the delegation. That is my preference. 20 more weeks is also good with me. I checked Minnowbooster and looks like the market is around 17-19%. Last time was at 15% for 38 Steem for the 570SP. Would 40 Steem for a 20 week delegation of 570SP be good? If you DO want to renew under those terms just reply here and send payment when you have enough.
I may not be back on Steem before May 20th to reply. So I will just plan to leave the delegation alone and with @friendsofgondor and you can send payment to @public-eye anytime after May 20th. All terms same as we have done in the past.
20 weeks would take us to October 7th. 2019.

Sorry for the late reply and yes we can go forward... ... The only issue I will have is getting the money coming into the account... right now the post gets flagged every week, but we do get donations... So I will put you up next in getting your delegation paid, but I have to finish the big one from em3 first (we are winding it down)... So to make a long story short, if you keep it, I will get you the 40 steem paid, but it might take awhile if that's ok... I won't forget, and if this isn't acceptable to you, then let me know. I would of course understand.
