Fruits and Veggies Monday Challenge "The Exotic Fruits from a Tropical Heaven"

in #fruitsandveggiesmonday7 years ago (edited)

Happy monday dearest steemians,

I am so happy to get to know the #fruitsandveggiesmonday challege by @lenasveganliving
Thanks Lena for hosting this interesting challege. I just knew this challenge and this is gonna be my fist #1 contribution for the challenge.

For today #fruitsandveggiesmonday, I'll share two very famous exotic fruits from Indonesia that are on the season right now. Here they are:

  1. The King of Fruits DURIAN
    image
The name Durian is from Indonesian language Duri which means Spike so here is Durian the Spiky Fruit :) and here is the look of the creamy pulp of the Durian
    image
The creamy texture and the sweet taste make this fruit irresistible but the strong smell makes some people hate it. Well.. anyway, most people especially Asians are in love with Durian and we believe that this fruit comes from the heaven.

  2. And here's the exotic fruit number #2 RAMBUTAN
    image
The name rambutan also comes from Indonesian language Rambut which means Hair so that is Rambutan the Hairy Fruit (it does have a lot of hair though).

And that's all from me for today's #fruitsandveggiesmonday challege by @lenasveganliving.

Have a very wonderful day guys!

You should try ;) @txatxy

Oh wow, this is a fabulous entry. I never had Durian, but I know lost of vegans love it and can totally live on it . I had sofar only Jackfruit, which is available in Asian supermarket here in Toronto and we also have Rambutan, which is very expensive, but delicious. So thank you so much, I really appreciate you joined us and I am looking forward to see more of your exotic plants in the future. upv & rsd 🍇🍍🍑🌸🍑🍍🍉

Thanks Lena, we have many other exotic fruits and they are super cheap here while grapes, apples, strawberries in contrast are very expensive fruits here. Would love to share more on my next post :)
It's great to see so many different fruits and veggies from all over the world <3
