one of the rare fruit that you can only find in Indonesia is Manau Fruit. This fruit comes from rattan plants. The shape of the fruit is similar to salak with scales and the color is similar. The difference of the scales contained in this fruit is greater than the salak. The taste of this fruit is sour-sweet. It will be delicious when used as pickles. Manau fruit is widely found in the islands of Bangka Belitung, Sumatra and Kalimantan. In one tree only if picked can produce fruit half sack. From the shape of the fruit is almost similar to rambutan. but not rambutan. red rambutan with stringy skin. if this fruit is a little greenish brownish with faded skin almost like a fruit bark
