Day 8 :) Friendship

I had great time reuniting with Vishal. He is the first guy I became friend in NIT. Vishal is a tall lad and is very conscious about his health. Meeting him made me nostalgia and reflect to the time we became friends. During the first year, he introduced me to his other friends Abhay, Shubham, Tanay and Lohit.

We people had a great bonding throughout the four years, celebrating birthdays and breakups :P. We guys used to pull each other legs. Though I was the ones who used to get roasted most of the time. I miss those golden days. After a long time, I was roasted today.

Because of my dark circles and facial expression, they used to think that I am a drinker. Though the truth is, I am a teetotaler. My behavior is straight forward. If I didn’t like things, I was rough and blunt at times. They helped me mold new perspective towards life. They are always there to support me.

Why do we need friends in life?

Because one needs a family away from family. Generally, now a days we stay away from our home. During this time having friend is a blessing. There are certain thoughts in which you are more comfortable to share with your friends. You need people of your group age.

A 2011 study found that friendship ignites the part of the brain that makes us feel good, which makes us want to keep hanging out with our friends. It has been also proven that friendship can extend our life expectancy and lower the chances of heart disease.

By now you might be nostalgic and missing your college days too. I request you to dial any of your close friends whom you have been wanting to talk since a long time.
