Hello Steemians!

My name is Charles, I am a French entrepreneur with a dual background in law and business. The story of Peter Thiel, founder of Paypal and author of "From Zero to One" inspired me to change my career from being a business lawyer crunching contracts to join the startup world. I felt happier trying to make a difference using my creativity and boundless curiosity to build innovative products addressing people's needs.

If you are thinking about a career change but don't know what is your one true calling in life, I suggest watching Emilie Wapnick's TEDx on Multipotentialites to release you from society's-induced stress of having to choose one specialty when you feel you can do more than one thing in your life.

How I discovered SteemIt

I recently moved from Paris to Los Angeles, eager to pursue new adventures with my girlfriend. I must say... California is AMAZING!

Being able to live in a place with large amounts of sunlight, bright blue sky, easy access to beaches, mountains, desert + an almost all-year round 20-25°C temperature is an incredible chance. Especially when you come from cloudy-cold Paris. As you have guessed, I strongly believe that climate has a major impact on our mind and happiness level ;)

Long story short, I met a couple of inspiring and driven entrepreneurs (hi @liotap!) who led me to start studying the blockchain economy and get excited about this new world of opportunities.

SteemIt is one of the most interesting blockchain projects at the moment and I am very happy to join the community.

I would love to discover more blockchain projects - please share with me in the comments the ones you like and why you think they deserve full attention :)

I heard @liotap is working on a very exciting Steem-based project, stay tuned for more info...!

I would rather not post than post something that would waste your time and mine. I'm into food, cocktails, cinema, art, self-improvement, serendipity, blockchain brainstorming, design, travel, French things... You can expect some posts about these things and I welcome your recommended contents :)
