As we all know, sharks are very sensitive to blood. Scent of blood in their water would definitely attract them faster than you would imagine.

But that does not mean they love to attack human for food, they actually prefer their natural prey like seals, it is confusion and also movie depiction that leads to this myth.

But if sharks become pure vegetarian like some of us, surviving on plants only, (unlike bonnethead which is omnivore), instead of meat the vast majority of food sources in the sea, then I think despite their sensitivity to blood scent, they would not attack human.

But that also means vegetarian sharks would fall down the rank in the food chain as they would become food of the other carnivores in the ocean.
