Alice looked at the double-pointed staff John was holding in front of her.
"This?" - She asked as she didn't believe her own eyes.
"You are joking, aren't you? How is it supposed to help me?" - She asked her teacher.
John smiled mysteriously and kept the staff in his hand without a word. Alice finally decided to grab the weapon. When she did, she felt something weird. The warm surface of the wooden staff was matching her hand perfectly. She immediately felt like it was part of her own body. She tried and made a swing. It was soundless. Air was pierced with a power she didn't experience before. Her lips curved in a smile as sparkles came to her eyes when she looked at John.
"See, I told you it is the best weapon for you. Now you understand?" He asked with a grin watching his student.
Alice nodded her head gently as she took a few steps back. She raised her new weapon above her head and started her practice. Every move trained for last year, with the addition of her equipment, was perfectly balanced. She felt more confident than ever before. With this, she was sure she was going to get her revenge.
