Time is an incredibly precious thing.
It's one of the few things that we can never get more of.
At least.... we don't know how to do that yet.
So we tend to try to make each moment last.

Sometimes this means spending time with a loved one.
Other times it simply means spending more time in a hot bath than you had originally intended.
For me, it often means staying up longer than I meant to.
Working all day for someone else is not a great way to use our time.
Unfortunately, we tend not to have much choice in the matter.
Even if you feel tired after work you might not feel like sleeping.
After all, sleeping means that the next day will be here sooner..... and the next day means working all day again.
Oftentimes I have a good plan in mind to get to bed before midnight.
It rarely ever happens.
I want to watch a movie.
I want to read a book.
I want to blog on Steemit.
I want to play a game.
Do I want to sleep?
Well...... my body does.
My mind says "Don't go to sleep yet, I don't want to go to work already."
Still, I need to start convincing myself to go to bed earlier.
The truth is that getting more sleep makes life more enjoyable.
I'm definitely trying to get to bed earlier.
I hope to finally be able to sleep sometime before midnight.

I can understand. I am not currently working but set alarm clock each morning. Refuse to sleep away my time off.

I definitely don't want to sleep my life away.
Lack of sleep is the root of most of my misery. It feels a lot less miserable owning responsibility for my lack of sleep. Actually, it only feels a little less miserable.
I wouldn't say it's the root of my misery but it's definitely a factor.
I know the feeling. When you spend all day living your life doing work for someone else it leaves little time for you to actually live and enjoy life. The late night is the only time you can do what you want. It's part of why I've been a night owl for so many years. Night is when I can watch TV or chill and enjoy a moment of peace.
Yep. But then I feel like crap in the morning.
