I used to think that Chrismas was a special occasion. As I grew older, it wasn't as special anymore. Things changed; for one, I found out Santa Claus wasn't real. (Mind. Blown.) But the main thing were changing of my values. Christmas is the season to be jolly! The season of giving! But why only for a season? Why on occasion is it that we focus on giving? Why not all the time? During the Christmas season, you see so many people spending so much time, money, and energy into buying gifts for other people. Some who never do so otherwise. I can only wonder what difference could be made if we took the same time, money, and energy and used it all year round to give joy amd peace to others. To their family who they haven't spoken to all year. Or strangers they've never stopped to talk to before. What if this special season didn't come on occasion, but the occasion was spread through all seaons? Wouldnt that be special.
