3 more months and it would be the prom.
She had been waiting for this her entire life. She missed her Junior Prom, and now that she was in the final year, she could finally joined Senior Prom.
It would be her final year and she wanted it to be the grandest. The most memorable event she could create for herself.
3 months ago, she had started keto diet. It was believed this would be the best choice for her body's configuration. High-fat and low-carb diet - to get rid of excess fat in her body so that she could exterminate her flabby arms and jellyish waistline.
She had high hope on the success that she went ahead and purchased online an elegant black strapless gown, with a sweetheart neckline. All she could imagine was her striking sexy entrance into the ballroom, catching the attention of one particular guy. She had been dreaming of being the Prom Queen and he, the Prom King.
Don't forget the corset for slim waist and the stick-on bra for cleavage. Two more items purchased online. The deal was good. Unbelievably cheap!
The day had finally arrived. She was having some challenge to actually zip up her gown. Just a little bit more inches to shed! Oh, what a keto diet, not working on time, phuh!
She was determined. After putting on the stick-on bra, she took a deep breath and made a real tight corset. She tried one more time and finally the dress was successfully zipped up.
Feeling elegant, she walked into the ball room, swinging proudly her newly bought classy purse. As she walked down the staircase, each step down was as difficult as one who made one step up the mountain. She hardly able to breathe as she was trying her best to hold up the man-made slim waist.
Zzapp.
Rripp.
Oh my goodness, she could hear the rip of her dress. She hold up her breath even more to make her waist slimmer. Not this time, no!
Zap
She felt some cold breeze at her back, means her dress had ripped off. Just when this happened, Justin waved at him, "Hi, look at you, you are gorgeous!" while walking towards her.
Zzapp!
Pluck!
This time her corset opened up too. Next, the most unthinkable happened. She felt the loosening of her bra and that means it was going to drop, leaving her with no cleavage.
Without uttering any words to Justin, she walked backwards and waved goodbye to him with one hand, another hand on her chest to prevent the dress from dropping.
Hurriedly, she grabbed a cab to go home, fearing Justin would have chased out to see what had happened.
She missed her Senior Prom. My Prom King.bold

HAHAHAHAHAH! Your descriptions made everything so clear and vivid. You are so good at it!!! Oh dear, this is the mishap every girl wouldn't want! Poor thing.
Oh no!!!!! That would be so sad and embarrassing - and kind of funny. Afterward. Okay, maybe 10 years after :)
Online purchases can be so iffy. Some items just can't be trusted and for big events like the senior prom you are probably better off just spending the extra money in a store so you can see the quality.
I do remember a girl in high school who lost her sundress as she slipped into class late. It caught on the door which she tried to close quietly so the teacher wouldn't notice. She took one step and the dress was stuck in the door, the simple thin strap that tied behind her neck untied instantly and there she was standing in her underwear, no bra. I was one of 3 people that noticed as she managed to keep quiet and back towards the door pulling her dress up. The other two were girls and friends of hers so no big deal.
I had quickly stood up to help her open the door back up and she ran off to the bathroom. at this point everyone had turned around confused so I told them she thought she was going to puke so she was running to the bathroom. The girls that saw what happened asked to go check on her and told her nobody knew what happened. Looking back it was pretty funny, but at the time she was mortified.
