RE: Bringing Voluntaryism to the UK

in #freedom8 years ago

Were you dropped on your head, or something?? Who said anything about that foolish crap you are talking about? (rolls eyes) Voluntaryists are not asking you to forsake organization and civilization. They are not asking you to embrace "might makes right" or "survival of the fittest." They are not asking you to throw away your compassion. They are not asking you to abandon your core values, or to betray your moral code. In fact, what they are asking is the precise and exact opposite of all of that. All that we are asking of you is that, whatever you already believe about right and wrong, you apply it consistently, to everyone, all the time.

We therefore ask that you stop imagining that political rituals and documents, or badges and uniforms, give some people special rights that the rest of us don’t have. We ask that you stop begging those who wield political power to do things on your behalf that you yourself have no right to do on your own. We ask that you stop believing in the Divine Right of Politicians, and instead accept that each individual owns himself, and that no one can be a rightful master, and no one can be a rightful slave.

Well ok, your reply seems to make as much sense as the original story.
Please understand while i "get" that you were unhappy with my post; I am not upset, possibly because i have no clue as to what you were trying to say...
The difference between my "rant" and your 'rant' is, i think; more people will be able to understand what i was trying to say.
However I will assist you in one way if i may; when posting on Social Media, your message must be simple, clear and concise. Otherwise 97.4 % of potential readers will either not bother to stop and read it or else have absolutely no clue what your trying to communicate.
I myself probably belong to that 97.4 % majority, but unlike most of the others i myself am stopping and trying to help you out...
Please understand i am mainly curious to discover what you are waffling about, which I admit is my main motivation in stopping to be so helpful.

C U on the BC :)

In truth however; in reply to your opening inquiry; up until the age of ten i lived on a farm, once at the age of approx eight i was thrown from a horse and did indeed strike my head on a sizable rock lying on the track-way that served as the road down to the milking shed.
Approx a year later i was standing on the plowing tractor my brother was driving in the field. I was standing leaning against the large back driving wheel tyre mudguard.
Something caused me to be thrown forward, for many decades I always never really believed my head ended up under the front tractor wheel and the back tractor wheel on my foot...
In truth i often thought if this truly happened if this truly happened how i could remain undamaged; approx two decades later at a family reunion my older brother related that story as true. I know I had never revealed that story to anyone as I felt i would never have been believed.
My only explanation now simply remains that the field had been well plowed and this prevented most likely injuries...
Still i remain amazed such an occurrence could not leave any lasting issues; or maybe it did :)
