From what I understand, raising the reputation score depends on a combination of things, such as consistency with posting quality and valuable content, replying to comments, reading other blogs and leaving comments and building a know, like, trust with your followers. I'm really not sure how exactly all of that is measured, but it all contributes.
It obviously takes time to network and find your place on the platform. I am still in the process of that, myself. It may be helpful to have strategy to help you brand your blog and get clarity on the direction you want take. First by asking yourself, What value am I going to bring?
