This topic of emtional control of others is what Mark Passio in effect defines as satanism. Causing emotional abuse onto others in order to control them. And is indeed very empowering to be aware of to then be in controll of the self.

Additionally to be aware of, that others views and definitions of you, only effect you if you allowe it to. Meaning that if someone tells you "you have this disease" Most choose to let that define them to be someone that is effected by that disease. Or; if someone tells you they think you are stupid and unable to understand, most is likely to imbody most of it and thus fulfilling that notion. But if you just see that as they're view of you, but working to become more of the self, or improving upon what they pointed out. Basically dont let others define who you are by what they say if you dont want to:)
