Are you comfortable? Things going pretty smooth? Not too many difficulties or challenges?
I used to think this was the kind of life I wanted to live. Smooth and easy. I've come to learn lately that its the life I've been mislead into thinking I want. Its the life the world wants me to live - comfortable and complacent.
The world love smooth sailing. It doesn't like the disruption and waves of life's storms. The world loves predictable.
I don't want to live a predictable life. I want to live a life of freedom, an uncommon life.
I want to experience the challenges that life has to offer and grow from them. I want to be able to rise to the occasion and be the man my Creator made me to be.
This will not be an easy, predictable path. This will not be a comfortable path. This will not allow me to be complacent. This will challenge me to redefine who I am on a daily basis.
We must remember that we should always be progressing and growing in some way, shape or form.

This is the life I am choosing to live. This is the life I am willing to fight for. I am more than my circumstances. I have a calling that is larger than myself. I want to live that calling to the fullest and will strive to fight for it daily.
You too have a life to live that is larger than yourself and your circumstances. I hope and pray that you too will seek to rise above the life this world seeks to lay out for you. Rise above the comfort and complacency of this world. Fight to be the person you were created to be. You have amazing and unimaginable gifts to offer this world. Gifts that will frighten and challenge this world. Live a life that shakes the world and breaks its chains!
