Respecting Authority

in #freedom7 years ago

I have never been a fan of respecting authority. I question any system that encourages one person to give orders to another. My actions are a direct result of lacking ambition to control others. a1drjohnthumb.JPG

I wish for others to be happy and free. My opinion of how they should achieve this result is of no consequence.

A large part of the humans in my corner of the world seem to focus their attention on ‘things’ to make them happy. This desire for things often results in their enslavement to a job. Conversely, people like myself who place a high value on freedom seem to lack the happiness promised by a materialistic lifestyle.

My point is these are personal decisions. Like time and money, freedom and happiness seem to require a personally acquired balance. I require no authority to tell me what to do.

I enjoy the freedom provided within the Steemit community. It is my choice to be here. It is my choice to contribute as I wish. If I do it wrong... tough! I did it my way.

Some authority may be helpful, but I prefer to learn from my own mistakes.

The Steem price may drop to a few pennies. I may lose all of the investment of time I have spent here, but I did it my way.

Live today as you wish. Ignore authorities.

Here is today’s beauty.
