I would credit Russia for kicking ISIS out. The U.S. was bombing fields and pointless targets under obama. Maybe that changed with Trump. Either way, what we do know, is that the increase in bombs and missiles under Trump has lead to the deaths of more innocent civilians than we have seen in the past.

The US was delivering cash and weapons to the terrorists in Syria under Obama. While Russia certainly did secure Syria from the terrorists, under Trump those terrorists became unfunded and were no longer supplied with weapons.
Not to take anything from Russia, or the Syrians themselves, merely pointing out the radical reversal in US policy.
This policy seems not to have changed in Yemen, and recently agents provocateur have undertaken, fruitlessly, to destabilize Iran. I don't endorse those things.
I have also heard reports of a much higher ratio of civilians to actual targets resulting from drone assassinations, and this is very troubling, as are Trump's statements about torture and similar tyrannical and evil practices.
I strongly support no longer funding ISIS, and this is the only positive change I have noted.
If I'm not suffering from disinfo. It is hard to get good information in the states regarding events elsewhere, and here, without getting inundated with propaganda. All I can do about that is seek additional sources, and take everything with a grain of salt, until it's disproved, and then I discard it, while trying to learn from that about the sources.
Thanks!
