My personal experience is my only teacher, but it has involved reading, learning and teaching others. In the end, only what I "know" becomes true for me. Only my experience and my perceptions of what I have experienced form what becomes my true self. This knowing is constantly fluctuating and I adapt "myself" to it or decide not to adapt to it and reject my own reflection until I am able to fully accept my own true self. It's evolution.
