What a moron!

All drugs should be legalized

Psychedelics will never become legalized...
Legality will instead become psychedelicized.

Ya dig?

It's actually ridiculous that marijuana is still illegal when we have commercials for alcohol. You've never heard of anyone smoking too much weed and going home to beat their wife.

Can marijuana cure cancer??

maybe if you boof it....lol

It can help some people.
But it mostly helps with the side effects of treatment.

YES. It does. Just as a mater of absolute fact.

@vrrom your YES sounds like you also have some scientific proof!! =D

My daughter, who was of legal age, went to a psychiatrist for depression and made the decision to take the medication prescribed in spite of its potential side effects. She ended up with a psychogenic seizure disorder. Unlike epilepsy, it cannot be controlled by medication. Praise God that Florida passed a law last year legalizing medical marijuana. It has greatly reduced her anxiety (one of the triggers for her seizures) and therefore the frequency of her episodes of convulsions has been greatly reduced as well --- and without any harmful side effects!

The rich and powerful pharmaceutical industry, which has the FDA in their pockets, does not want marijuana legalized. The legalized drug pushers have no conscience selling cures that sometimes have side-effects worse than the original medical problem.

"if you legalize pot then you will have people driving around high all the time"
yup, sounds like the crap I heard at the hearing my state legislature had, people who imagine that people have not been riding around stoned for years and like that would suddenly become a problem. That and a beet lobbyist claim that cannabis was neurotoxic, despite the government having a patent on its neuroprotective qualities.

Uhh, actually... Sounds like a safer highway to me... LOL.. *sigh SMH... These people are dishonest, I think that's the bigger problem. ;)

And statistics back up your thoughts, in reality when cannabis is legalized traffic fatalities fall 8-11% because there are fewer drunks on the roads when some of them smoke weed instead.

Yeah, is that Colorado specifically? We need to call out these weirdos just like Adam. Not being mean or rude, or shaming, just conversation is all we need. :)

That was several states, that's why they had a range of 8-11%. I worry for that guy, he seems like he needs some help.

He seems like a good man. Stubborn, close-minded but seemingly a good man ;) He'll be fine lol

I seriously cannot stand the right on this issue. They claim to be the party of freedom, but they're all bought out by the pharma drug lobby and push Reefer Madness prohibitionist propaganda.

We need to get Jeff Sessions out because he is too distracted with this thing. We the people need to vote out people who are not doing what we want them to do in the government. We want the freedom to put whatever we want into our bodies. We the people have to do whatever we can to share what we believe, what we want. We can try our best to vote for better people, bills, etc, and maybe run for office ourselves too.

Sessions is distracted by cannabis? His much touted "crackdown" is anything but. The memo he rescinded was redundant and one of many on many subjects he rescinded because they don't actually comport with the law. There have not been any actual raids right?

I'm not too sure about raids but I do know they have been kicking out of America many gang members to some extent in 2017 at higher numbers, percentages, than in previous years, which is an attempt to get rid of maybe the Mafia or what do they call the Mexican Mafia? And others.......but we got to do better at the borders and we do better if America is not gun free like Chicago.

yup, we have enough domestic gang members.

How can we get Sessions replaced? How can we vote in better people into government?

The AG serves at the pleasure of the president, you could write him a letter, or just wait for him to piss Trump off. Vote better people into congress to make cannabis legal with an actual law and Jeff Sessions will be totally satisfied. Also Trump could use an executive order to reschedule cannabis but you would have to come up with a convincing argument for a man whose brother died from drug and alcohol abuse.

Letters do help. Votes help. Making videos and posts and GIFS and MEMES and everything and sharing this stuff helps too. We need freewill more.

what's really going to do it is the money, what prevents legalization is the folks who lose money when it becomes legal, eventually those who make money when it becomes legal will have enough that they can influence the process more.

Opinions are relative. We are not designed to always agree on the same thing.

its all about the dollar bill...dang black market dealers.....

Great work man..........good thinking........... creative work impress me...........i appreciate your post.......!!!!!!!!!!!

The nation that we live in today gladly declares its propagation of opportunity and vote based system, and with these characteristics it passes on incomparable equity. The United States government and its constitution are viewed by numerous as the zenith of common government, as a definitive projection of common equity. Be that as it may, no legislature is immaculate, for man himself is characteristically flawed. For more than two centuries since its introduction to the world, The U.S. constitution, which numerous hold in such high regard, has been constantly shaped to fit our consistently evolving society. A large number of these progressions have been great and fundamental, while others have caused unanticipated issues,
Thanks for sharing@adamkokesh,stay bless

I am against twisting up the U.S. Constitution too much. I believe in smaller government, too. So, the Feds shouldn't really mess in our personal lives including what we might put in our bodies. That is our responsibilities as humans to take care of ourselves as much as we can I would hope.

He likes government freedom, not personal freedom....It pays him better

Possession of marijuana is illegal in most countries and has been since the beginning of widespread cannabis prohibition in the late 1930s. But you know I don't see the point and why don't they make alcohol completely illegal. We have seen many cases of deaths, violence etc by excessive use of alcohol and they put band on marijuana . And besides it has many health advantages if used as prescribed by the medicals.

Kinda painful to watch.. he needs lessons in answering questions when being interviewed! Get to the point lol

Oh its really ??

"restrictions on freedom for public safety". The alibi mantra of statists of all stripes and shapes, both left and right.

"Split 50!". Adam's got it right. Take the federal government to the curb and let's have 50 sovereign nations. If you are then foolish enough to stay in a place where this ilk runs things, woe unto you.

Please listen to Adam's "Freedom!" book. ...at least to the 8:05 mark. At that point, you can decide whether or not to finish it. Either way, I'd like your appraisal of it. We are using this strategy to build "Adam's Army". Our first mission is to find 1 million millenials and students who will read it or hear it, and give us their p.o.v.

Looking forward to discussing it further.

End the drug war already!

AK. While I do appreciate seeing these recycled vids, I am going to request that you sort of "back burner" them for now. Why? Ever since you started promoting your candidacy with the "Split 50!" concept, the sales pitch to the average American... or even the politically involved American CHANGES DRASTICALLY. Everyone joining "Adam's Army" needs to see how you sell your new vision of America, so we can copy the verbal strategy in our indentured time helping out. We need to see how to sell "Split 50!" more than the no-gov anarcho position. Your book does that perfectly' WE DON'T NEED TO RE-INVENT THE WHEEL... nor even improve it. I am looking to make the "presentation" for our "army" as least confronting as possible, and as easy to mimic. "Hit 'em and quit 'em"... getting them to commit to reading/hearing the book, and then a follow up, getting their appraisal. We need to learn them, then practice your "sound bytes" in action. "Aim Small; Miss Small."

He has a large, loyal following. Very crypto friendly.

Wow nice love your blog so much Pls Pls Upvote me @davibes

I think this guy might be an undercover pro-weed performance artist :) His arguments are just too weak and incoherent to be serious.

I hopeful about the future because the spread of cryptocurrency will promote rationalism.

Crypto the Currency Dog approves. There's no good reason for marijuana prohibition.

Everyones afraid of change. If you grow up 40+ yrs with the Govts. and MD's telling you somethings bad, you dont just switch up 100% over night. My grand parents could get cancer and still not touch MJ

I respect the man for being civil and listening to your stances. Good on him. However, his idea of freedom is so impotent, stale, and boring that I threw up in my mouth when I heard him define it. The Constitution does not enumerate human freedoms! The Constitution enumerates restrictions on government, not people. However, it is no surprise to hear a statist posit such an interpretation, which pretends that the only possible human action is under the letter of the law.

Nonetheless, Respec for my man for taking a logical beating like that and still standing at the end.

Agreed, and government grows too big when we do not have checks and balances and separations of powers and especially as federal government rises over state and local level governments. We need more freedoms, competitions, and freedom comes to some extent from God, or if there is no god, than maybe freedom should not come from to some extent or at all from government to say the least.

I'm a physician who used to smoke up in med school, although I believe it's bad in the long run and makes you lazy I still think it's stupid to have my taxes fund non violent drug offenders... people will suffer the effects of drug use anyway no need to put them in prison and waste so much money... just my 2 cents

Well, if you're a physician and are unaware of the profound biophysical benefits of cannabis, I'd say you're slacking. The research is in. It's not just harmless, it is a miracle plant, in regards to medicine, food, and countless other industries. Pot prohibition is flat out a crime on humanity. Thanks for your 2 cents, anyways ;)

Your use of Socratic method and reusing his arguments against him was brilliant. You said you were running for President?

I think it’s fitting I make my 420th post on steemit one on an awesome post about pot, I chose yours @adamkokesh because it’s relevant to the subjects I enjoy. Ie politics, freedom, and the abolition of our current shadow governments. Much love! Decentralize!

Weed is non-toxic.. No ones ever died from it, though there are hundreds of thousands who are dropping like flies from opioids, antipsychotics, antidepressants, OTC's, heart medications, alcohol, cigarettes.. Pretty much everything the FDA has sanctioned. So buy all the sanctioned synthetic poison you want and I'll call it medicine and call the medicine a narcotic... What a pig this guy is. Thank you, Adam for exposing this trash holding the freedom movement back..

a perfect example of someone who thinks they're qualified to decide what's good for other people, how can people be so full of themselves? to give the guy credit though, he stuck around and tried to answer adam's questions. i even have a glimmer of hope that thanks to adam he might give this freedom idea a bit more thought :)

Personal freedom is not a conservative principle.
They're happy to give it up if government says so.
