- By Motives: this is key to choosing significance or selfishness
- Maturity: accepting responsibility. Mature emotions- outer directed not inner directed. The ability to see the world through eyes other than your own.
- Mindset: thinking.
a. Takers- who grab and consume. This is almost very common with youths this days to the extent never investing in ourselves to whatever opportunity we get. There's this mentality that's causing mishap, youths following the footsteps of some bad influence in the society (leaders- society at large) which now birth unfruitful dealings at every chance and opening to good things, making situations worse.
- Makers - makes things happen, give others, cause progress, foster success for others. This are a product with quality attribute, always having people at heart and progressively bringing life and happiness to the environs. People success, happiness are always at their best interest which causes progress. So to say makers creates opportunity, path to success.
Scarcity paradigm vs Abundance paradigm
Scarcity paradigm - referring to something not scarce then it is not desired or valued that much. Thought of people wanting something they cannot have which drives them to desire that thing even more.
Abundance paradigm - referring to having more than enough of everything at all times.
What differentiates Takers from Makers.
- Takers are defensive while makers are offensive
- Takers escape laws while makers pursue vision
- Takers take safety route while makers take risky route
- Takers maintain while makers create
- Takers operate under fear while makers operate by Faith
- Gifts are contained while for makers gifts are released
- Takers are reactive while makers are proactive
- Takers are stagnant while makers multiplies
- Takers operate under win - lose while makers operate win - win.
