Howdy Jeff, I saw that you landed in Houston and then were going to speak at College Station. I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to see you speak. I was working in the woodlands and couldn't make the trip. The Woodlands is an upscale suburb of Houston. I noticed quite a few AtM stamps on the curbs of million dollar homes. I knocked on those doors and talked to those people(my job) and it's surprising how many of them are strapped for cash or are renting.
Texans like their financial security, their big trucks and big houses. They don't necessarily like standing out from the crowd or being their own boss. Very conservative, might be why you had such a low turn out. No one is immune to good advice, though.
I'm learning how to preach it. People here listen without appearing to listen. The strong and silent method raises eyebrows.
Funny example: I'm seeing the guys I work with bring in healthier and healthier lunches. When I started the job they all made fun of me for being healthy, named me "keto," and I just accepted it and laughed with them.
Had I known in advance that you were coming in I would have made it happen. I'd really like to shake your hand some time because I heard about Allen Carr through one of your videos. I quit drinking last year and quit smoking months ago.
Give us more heads-up on Steemit about where you're traveling to. A few days ago it seemed you were in Athens or Syria and then College Station all of the sudden. :)
