Fortnite World Cup: Epic reveals that it has "captured" 1000 cheaters

Another 48 players were also banned for sharing their account and 8 for teaming up during a match. Finally, a player was excluded for life from the title of Epic Games due to the use of a cheat system.

All those who used these illegal Fortnite practices and were caught in the act rightly were forced to give up their monetary prize. If on the one hand this severity on the part of Epic Games is certainly good news for the competitive landscape of the battle-royale, on the other hand it is undeniable that the cheater problem is now rampant on Fortnite. For this reason the software house has announced that it is working on further mechanics in contrast to this phenomenon and has invited its community to report any infractions seen within the game.
