Steemit back in the day...

in #forged7 years ago

...Like July 2016 was a long time ago. Only engineers and A+ certification guys knew how to sign you up, a year ago. I owe @pairmike a lot. By the time I started writing, there was very little for me to do. He was my captive audience. I sold my Steem to only one person.

It was real amoeba economics, not macro nor micro. Too infantile to be considered an economy. But I'm grateful for the experiment.

I used my proceeds to buy a rake, which I used to pull weeds out of the old, Asian church my pastor rented because the owner would not renovate. Then I got yelled at for pulling up rose seedlings, which were somehow interspersed between thorns and thistles. As though roses were supposed to survive being choked out.

I pulled out 150 pounds by hand, shoved them in the back of my truck and threw them in the dumpster at my apartment complex. Still have the rake. May have to forge mine into a sword or long spear one day, if I don't buy an AR15 first.

I like it very much, you are great

So glad you have stayed with Steemit. I hope to stay the course as well!
