RE: Marriage

in #forest7 years ago

What would you say if one day your wife told you that she is also married to someone else but its not in any database?

The concept of freedom to choose is a nice idea that we should continue to pursue. However, while doing so we have to remember that there are several other things to consider before the "most advisable" decision is made.

Both the national and global communities in which we live have a number of legal considerations. These considerations are put in place for security reasons, among other things, and these services are provided at a cost to the government. If you weigh this cost against the issues you'd have to deal with if these systems were not put in place you would agree that the fee is nominal.

I like the thought though...you may be on to something.

I love how respectful people on this platform are towards the ideas of freedom.

I've been very fortunate to marry a woman who is forthright with her thoughts and willing to discuss things that bother her. We both agreed to love and respect each other in front of family and friends which I believe is a stronger oath than any document the government can provide.

Also I really appreciate your interaction, it's difficult to get a page moving on here right now as a minnow. So thank you!
