You find yourself in the kitchen and it does not fit into what the rest of the house looks like. You would not be crazy to mistake it for a modern-day kitchen at that. Unlike the rest of the house that had to be fitted after the fact for things like heating and electricity. This room seemed to have been remodeled with all of that into consideration.

At the very least you were expecting to be walking into a kitchen like your grandmother’s. One that had cabinets blocking the views of the seating area in a more closed-off design. With an old fashion small oven that stopped working years ago. Along with an ice box that you would have to chisel the ice out of for days to store anything in.

Instead, there are high-end steel-covered appliances such as the refrigerator and dishwasher. Granite countertops on every surface. With a sink, so big an adult could take a bath in. Along with a giant cooking hood over the gas-powered range.

It was also an open design. There was even a bar right in the middle of it. A drink you felt was quite needed at a time like this. It has been quite a long day after all. Sadly there is not a bottle or any food to be found anywhere.

You hesitated for a second before opening the refrigerator. The smell you were fearing that could have come out of it when you opened it thankfully was not the case. While the lightbulb inside it still worked it was pristine and empty on the inside.

This however allowed your stomach to remind you that it’s been a while since you have eaten. After it let out a lion’s rawer it was time to continue exploring the kitchen.

Despite the fact, that it looks like it had never been cooked in. It had everything but the food needed to do so. Gold dinnerware settings, an assortment of chef's knives, and there were even wine glasses in a cabinet.

After exploring for a while it was time to move on. There was only the door to the outside and one into the main entryway.
