CHICKEN BAKED WITH VEGETABLES
INGREDIENTS
1 piece whole chicken
4 PCs. potatoes
2 PCs. carrots
2 PCs corn
1 PC. onion
1 head of garlic
1 piece lemon
3 sprigs of rosemary
2 sprigs of thyme
50 g butter
vegetable oil
salt
freshly ground pepper
COOKING
Carrots and potatoes peel and coarsely chop. Corn cut into several parts. Cut onions into slices, clean the garlic and disassemble into slices.
Grease a baking tray with oil and place vegetables on it. Sprinkle with oil, salt, pepper, put sprigs of thyme and rosemary. Mix well.
Rinse the chicken and dry with paper towel.
Butter evenly under the skin of the bird. Also grease the top and sides of chicken.
Salt and pepper the bird inside and out. Cut the slices of lemon and place it in the chicken along with several cloves of garlic, sprigs of thyme and rosemary.
Place the chicken on top of vegetables. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 1 - 1.5 hours.
- For uniform crust can carefully turn the chicken after 45 to 50 minutes baking.
