Arsenal striker Joel Campbell desires a permanent switch to Real Betis once his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
The Gunners winger joined the La Liga club at the start of the current season on a season-long loan, which is his second stint at the club. Nevertheless, he has managed to make only three appearances in the league so far this season because of injury.
Betis were thinking of terminating his loan in January but have kept him on the board, and he has since recovered to full fitness and started training with the first team. Nonetheless, manager Quique Setién is yet to include him in the matchday squad since his return.
However the Costa Rica international is not willing to give up and made it evident that he is ready to work hard on his shape and be ready when the coach decides to give him a chance.
The Costa Rican's current stint at Betis is his sixth loan spell since joining Arsenal in 2011, having played just one season for the Gunners. And he is desperate to make Betis his changeless club once he becomes a free agent in the summer.
