Arsenal officially appoints Unai Emery as successor to Arsene Wenger

in #football7 years ago

For the first time in over two decades Arsenal won't be associated with Arsene Wenger as their manager. Their new man is Unai Emery.

Gunners have officially confirmed ex-PSG and Sevilla boss is completing regulatory process before taking the charge at Emirates Staduim.

46-year-old Basque specialist already expressed his excitement about new challenge in interview to Arsenal club website:

I am thrilled to be joining one of the great clubs in the game. Arsenal is known and loved throughout the world for its style of play, its commitment to young players, the fantastic stadium, the way the club is run.
I’m very excited to be given the responsibility to start this important new chapter in Arsenal’s history. I have met Stan and Josh Kroenke and it’s clear they have great ambitions for the club and are committed to bringing future success.
I’m excited about what we can do together and I look forward to giving everyone who loves Arsenal some special moments and memories.

Even failed to win the Champions League cup with PSG, he delivered Parisians a highest win ratio (73.7%) and the highest points per game tally (2.37) – more than any manager in club’s history.

And yes, that man won three Europa Leagues in row with Sevilla. He knows success for sure.

Great job i think, carry on.

This is the man for ARSENAL.

Agreed, he seems a very good pick

Impatient to see his style of play and results at Arsenal.

What kind of player you think he should bring into squad first?

I am a lover of the football.

Thanks for another news update....every football club update is valuable.
