Roma - owner of AS Roma, James Pallotta called his team can beat Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals this season. He named AS Roma against Liverpool as a Boston derby.
Pallotta said that because he and Liverpool owners Tom Werner and John Henry are from Boston, United States.
"It's going to be a Boston derby, Liverpool is owned by Boston guys Tom Werner and John Henry, it's going to be fun," Palletta said.
"Henry called me that night and I sent him a text, but I have not met him yet, it will be great for us," he said.
In the semifinal, AS Roma will face Liverpool. AS Roma will travel first to the cage of Liverpool, Anfield Stadium, 25 April.
A week later, AS Roma will host the team that knocked out Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals at the Olimpico Stadium.
Furthermore, Pallotta said, AS Roma can beat Liverpool. What's more, the Giallorossi got rid of Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.
"Of course we can win We have just played the best game against Barcelona, the best team in the world I think, in the last five years, this is the best game of AS Roma," he said.
"We play should not make mistakes, against a team like Liverpool, we could have made a mistake, but it will not be forgiven," Pellotta said.
