CIES Football Observatory published the rating of the most expensive football players in the world.
The CIES Football Observatory investigated the cost of top-5 league players.
The study assessed factors such as age, position, duration of the contract, performances for the club and the national team.
Leader of the rating was forward PSG Neimar. Also in the top three were Lionel Messi and Harry Kane, but the current holder of the Golden Ball, Cristiano Ronaldo, took only 49th place.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian players in the top 100 rankings did not hit.
The top ten included:

- Harry Kane (Tottenham) - 194.7 million
- Kilian Mbappe (PSG) - 192.5 million
