My son Phoenix has decided that he would like to become a football player and as a football coach that is music to my ears. I’ve been very careful not to push him too hard as until recently I knew that Football wasn’t his favourite thing.

Phoenix has just turned 9 and I been taking him Football with me since he was six and even tho I knew playing wasn’t his favourite thing I was keen to make him a good player just in case he did decide that he wanted to play and had the passion.

He has always been very skilful and technically good but his fitness, speed and agility could be better so I’ve chosen to get him private athletics coaching to improve on all those things.

Today is his first session and I can tell already that he’s really enjoying it and I’ve been very pleased with his attitude which tells me that he’s serious on improving.

As long as he’s serious and wants to play I’ll always support whatever he chooses to do and I’m just over the moon that he has chosen football.

Good luck Sir!! I´m also supporting my son with his dream. Greeting from Germany.

My biggest childhood regret was that I quit football around 11 years to play American football, major mistake.

Legends are made, not born :)
God bless sir for the training, hard work really payoff ;)
