in #football6 years ago

Current Molde manager and former Manchester United player Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been appointed as the interim manager of the Red Devils after Jose Mourinho was fired yesterday from the Premier League club. His assistants will be Mike Phelan, Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.

Jose Mourinho was sacked after being 19 points behind Premier League leader Liverpool and 11 points outside the Champions League places. He was the head coach for two and half years.

It (the sack) was always coming... It was written all over. It was just a matter of when and now it is here. Just unfortunate, United cannot get a top notch coach as it stands. Maybe if they give Ole a long term contract, perhaps, he could help build a new team.

It is a shame Jose was sacked. I thought he was doing a brilliant job!

For me, he was very weak as their manager. :)
