Today I decided to share with you a very controversial subject depending on the tastes of each person, as I will talk about the differences that we can find between FIFA 18 and PES 18 although both are similar games to still differ in their execution; the two titles vary both in the way they are played and in the different game modes they offer, or in the technical aspect and in the presentation of the matches.
Every year with each new presentation of the game, all soccer lovers look for differences to see which can be positioned as best so you have to know everything that each of the soccer simulators of this year offers in case it manages to draw our attention. That's why I bring you a comparison on both games.
PLAYING
The gameplay is the basis of any action title, a genre where the sporting titles come in, and it is the difference between passing it on the bomb with the games or waiting with a desire to sound the final whistle. Throughout the years, FIFA and PES have raised their meetings in a very different way, each with its own style of play that has evolved to the present day.
So, seeing how important the gameplay is, let's see what can be differentiated between these two great games:
Fifa 18: In this installment we do not see much difference compared to the previous one that was Fifa 17, since some of the elements that most frustrate certain people are maintained, such as the feared bounces that always seem to benefit others.
PES 2018: It brings us a more realistic way of playing football, where to get a good result we have to keep in mind that we have to think a lot more about the plays to be made, they have sought to make improvements on the control of the ball and give the movements of the players the realistic touch. The skills of both the person playing and the characteristics of the player will make it more difficult or easier to master an air game.
So in this aspect the winner is PES 2018 as it has improved in its gameplay mode but we continue to see the differences.
GAME MODES
The matches are not everything, and a good game of sports needs to be surrounded by a variety of game modes and how could it be otherwise, FIFA 18 and PES 2018 pose their game modes in different ways, and each has its particularities in this section.
We have PES 2018, which has the Master League and the Be a Legend mode as the typical "race" modes, where we can take command of a team to try to win it all, or create a player to live the race of a professional football player. In the online section we have the Online Divisions, where we can face people from all over the world to go up through the divisions of the game, and the myClub mode, where we can create a template with players and coaches of all kinds to compete, as well as the new 3v3 cooperative modes.
In addition to all this, the Champions League, Europa League and AFC Champions League tournaments are also available, as well as the return of the random selection matches. However, beyond the return of this last mode, or the arrival of online cooperative modes, PES 2018 has not shown much change in this section with respect to the previous year. Both the Be a Legend and the Master League or myClub modes are very similar to their predecessors, and they weaken a bit when compared to their opponent, especially in the case of the comparison between myClub and FIFA Ultimate Team mode.
FIFA Ultimate Team continues to be the most popular game mode in the world of console football, and one of the most popular online game modes in general. EA Sports knows that it has the goose that lays the golden eggs with this mode, and therefore every year offers us new options within FUT. This year the Squad Battles have been incorporated, a competitive game mode that offers an experience similar to that of FUT Champions but for a player, in case we do not have enough time during the week to participate in the most competitive multiplayer mode of Ultimate Team. They have also added new daily challenges that encourage players to jump to the field, and thus get rewards. Of course, Pro Clubs are maintained in this FIFA delivery, although there have not been too many changes here.

In the field of offline, it has been improved in the Career Mode with a new transfer system for FIFA 18, which allows us to meet in person with the managers of other teams or with the players themselves to negotiate the agreements. New trainings and information tabs have been incorporated, with a cleaner and easier way to see all the data referring to our players, or to fully monitor the club's finances. Finally there is El Camino mode, a mode with a great narrative weight, in which the story of Alex Hunter is continued, and which has also received good improvements in this release, such as new personalization options, a more interesting story, with different ramifications depending on some decisions, and a series of objectives during the chapters to unlock new improvements and accessories
GRAPHICS
Out of what we have already talked one of the things that the players most attention is the graphics because with each new delivery of FIFA and PES each seeks to make improvements in this issue to give the realistic touch of each player and that it looks as similar as possible and also giving a very realistic look to the stadiums.
Fifa 2018 seeks to give an environment quite similar to what we would see in a real life game since it even has light effects that vary according to the time of day and also climatic effects that can be (snow, rain, showers, sunny weather, fog), not only that but it presents stadiums which can appreciate interactive objects such as the corner flags or the bottles of the goalie next to the sticks
PES 2018 has been commissioned to recreate to perfection some of the stadiums that can come out in the game and also sounds so much that you could feel inside the stadium in a real game although nothing is perfect these have some rigidity in some of its essential elements such as They can be the ball in play and shots cut by changing cameras.
Talking now about what is the physical aspect of the players this varies in both games because while some characters are very identical are others that have almost similar, in this battle on the graphics are even because where one has better graphics the other it wins you in another aspect.
Already having finished with all these comparisons I leave with my final opinion.
I am not an expert in this subject my opinion is based on the differences of each of the games, which are the best and of course my personal taste, remember that we all have different tastes especially when choosing which game to choose , personally I prefer Fifa 18 because my thinking has always had better graphics, better gameplay and better stability and although it has had errors have not been as big as those of PES but I can not deny that PES 18 has improved so much that I feel that is has become competitive against Fifa but what do you think?
