Late Round Fantasy Football Targets

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to write this article to go over a few guys that I am targeting to finish off fantasy football rosters in my 12 man leagues. I think the guys listed, could have an impact in the beginning of the season but for a bargain price.

Cameron Meredith (WR) NO -
I really like Cam Meredith, he basically free to add at the end of a 12 man draft. I have been able to snag him in the 12th+ round in many of my leagues. Meredith is only 25 years old and 6'3" tall. He showed during his short stint in Chicago that he could produce. Last season, Drew Brees only threw 23 touchdowns last year, after totaling more than 30 touchdowns for the last nine years! I expect the passing game to bounceback this year for the Saints and Cameron could take advantage.

Jonathan Williams -
This late round running back is going to get an opportunity to show that he belongs within the Saints backfield during Mark Ingram's Suspension. The Saints first game is against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without starting quarterback Jameis Winston. The hope is that the Saints will have a positive game script throughout the match and provide Williams with enough opportunity to make him productive. If all goes well, he could have a larger role then anticipated when Ingram returns.

Ricky Seals-Jones (AZ) TE -

For me, it is more about the wide receiver group. They have a 38 yr old HOF Larry Fitzgerald who has lost a step, a 7 year career backup in Brice Butler and rookie Christian Kirk. While Larry should still be productive, the other two leave some serious questions. Now that Bruce Arians is gone, I expect the Cardinals to start spreading the ball around with more short and intermediate routes. As a result, I think that RSJ has the potential to be one of the primary beneficiaries. In addition, in week one the Cardinals get the Washington Redskins who were one of the more generous teams against the TE position last year. I have no hesitation rolling out RSJ in week one of the fantasy season.
