With there first two goals in the second leg of champions league semi final, the Reds have become the highest goal scoring team in champions league history.
Liverpool's prolific attack in champions league this season have been fearsome and also record breaking with forward trio Mo Salah, S Mane and R Firmino doing the magic at goals. The Reds entered the second leg of their champions league semi final against Roma needing only one goal to equal the all time record in the competition for most goals scored which os held by the 1999/2000 Barcelona side that scored 45 goals in 16 games. Sadio Mane's opener in the nine minutes into the game equaled the La Liga giants record and Georgino Wijnaldum's goal secured the record for the Red. Liverpool managed to top the record in just 14 games.
