My Food Blog - Sarawak Instant Laksa

Okay, I was happily buying this online for a friend to bring to another hometown friend in Finland, but she said it is too difficult to be carried to her so she asked for the Sarawak Laksa paste instead.

This pack of wonderful taste also didn't manage to reach me before my messenger went off so when it came in the mail today, it became mine!!!!!

So, I haven't been able to cook much recently because my sense of smell had heightened and many things make me feel like puking. I can only do simply soup, which one of my options is instant noodles. I actually volunteered to cook supper for my husband last night because I got too eager to try the taste and couldn't eat too much at one go.

Off I went getting busy in the kitchen and thought I should add fresh ingredients like prawns, lime juice and even fried omelette in. I was so nervous to know the verdict if it tastes similar to what I spent hours cooking last time. It came with the laksa paste as well as a pack of coconut milk powder and seasonings. I left the chicken breast out because I was too lazy to wait for it to defrost at 11pm. Needed the husband to do the omelette because that's one thing that really makes my stomach overturned.

Tadaaaaaa!

It tasted really good, as a matter of fact. Not as tasty as what I have cooked, but it isn't bad. My husband gulped every mouthful of the broth. What a happy burp sinful supper. Usually we cannot get Sarawak Laksa at this hour as they always have it fresh in the morning till latest noon. But last night was amazing for me to have it near midnight, Hahaha! I have seen too many hometown friends and family "enticing" me with it!

Now everyone can cook laksa, just get the instant pack!!!
