'Faro' was names after the Spanish word for ‘lighthouse’. Since "Faro" is located near an old lighthouse in our town.

The word itself is originated from Ancient Greek Egyptians who adorned and were in awe of the light omitted from the lighthouse. They referred to it by the title of the King of Egypt, also well-known to us now as 'Pharaoh'.
This old lighthouse was started providing guidance to ships passing into the channel on April 1, 1905 and continued to do so for over a hundred years. The Parola is managed by the Philippine Coast Guard and the light point flashes at five-second intervals.
It stands at 72 feet and has been a favorite subject of artists and photographers due to its notable architectural design and visited by locals and foreigners since then.
The owner said that, "Faro Liloan" was inspired by Tito Reuben, one of our featured dish is Reuben's Signature Tapas served with Sangria. It is a platter of Beef Sirloin Strips, Calamaris, Buffalo Wings, and Pork BBQ Skewers, perfect for sharing.
Faro sits on the hilltop, away from the hustle and bustle, and overlooks a spectacular panoramic view of the seaside where you can catch the beautiful skyline of Lapu Lapu by day and the moon river by night.
